The DNM 6700 series by DN Solutions is a global standard Vertical Machining Center, featuring the largest machining space in its class, delivering high productivity and precision.
Similar to the DNM 5700 series, the DNM 6700 is also equipped with a direct-coupled spindle that helps reduce vibration and noise, uses an environmentally friendly grease lubrication system for the roller guideways, and integrates a standard thermal error compensation system.
The DNM 6700 series is divided into 3 main versions based on the X-axis travel length: DNM 6700 (Standard), DNM 6700L (Extended), and DNM 6700XL (Extra Large travel).

2. Spindle System
- All 3 versions use a standard ISO #40 (7/24 Taper) tool shank spindle.
- The standard spindle speed is 8000 r/min (with upgrade options to 12000 or 15000 r/min).
- The spindle power reaches 18.5 kW (equivalent to 24.8 Hp) and the torque reaches 117.8 N·m. DN Solutions also offers a high-torque optional version reaching up to 286 N·m.
3. Automatic Tool Changer (ATC) System
- Tool storage capacity: Standard 30 tools (with options for 40 or 60 tools).
- Tool change speed: Tool-to-Tool time reaches 1.2 seconds and Chip-to-Chip time is approximately 3.5 seconds.
4. Control Software and Automation
- CNC Controller: Supports a variety of popular controllers such as DN Solutions FANUC i Plus (with a 15-inch iHMI screen), SIEMENS S828D (15.6-inch screen), HEIDENHAIN TNC620 (15.6-inch screen), and MITSUBISHI M80A.
- Support Software: Integrated with DN Solutions' exclusive EZ Work software package, which supports thermal compensation, adaptive feed control, cycle setup guidance, and intuitive tool life management.
- Automation Capability: Similar to the 4500 and 5700 series, the DNM 6700 machine also perfectly connects with the AWC (Auto Work-piece Changer) system (including the Multi Level version) with a large pallet storage capacity, ideally supporting 24/7 continuous mass automated production.

5. Machining Materials
Thanks to being equipped with flexible spindle options (including high-speed spindles and high-torque spindles), the DNM 6700 series effectively handles a variety of industrial materials:
- Steel: The machine processes steel very well, especially when combined with the hinged belt chip conveyor configuration to clean up long cutting chips.
- Cast Iron / Die-casting materials: This series is supported by the optional magnetic scraper chip conveyor configuration, which is ideally designed to handle fine chips generated from the machining process of cast iron materials or cast parts.
- Aluminum / Aluminum alloys: The DNM series in general is frequently used to machine aluminum materials.
6. Machining Products and Applications
As a General Purpose machine series delivering high productivity and precision, the DNM 6700 series targets parts that are significantly larger than the DNM 4500 or 5700 series:
- Cast parts: The machine is particularly suitable for shaping and milling monolithic cast components and parts.
- Heavy-load parts and mold workpieces: With a large table size and a maximum load capacity of up to 1300 kg, all 3 versions easily accommodate the machining of very heavy molds or machine parts.
- Mass production of aluminum wheels: The DNM series features flexible integration capabilities with robot arm systems to form automated production lines for aluminum wheels.
- Bar, shaft-type parts, and fixtures with extremely long lengths: This is the strongest and most distinctive application of this machine series thanks to the extra-long X-axis travel design:
